For employers/clients, we may collect HR, recruiter details and verification documents to validate authenticity of the submitted information.
For interns/freelancers, we may collect academic details such as transcripts, resumes, references, or recommendation letters.
When you use our Platform, we collect a variety of personal information depending on your role and activity. If you create an account, we may collect various types of personal information (like for example your name, email address, mobile number, password, profile image and any other form of personal information that we may collect as per applicable laws). For freelancers/interns, we also collect profile-related data such as skills, education, work history, hourly rates, certifications, and portfolio details. Employers/clients may be asked to provide business details such as company name and billing address. They may also need to provide proof of a relationship with the representative/s nominated to use the platform on their behalf. Additionally, to facilitate payments, we collect financial details such as bank account numbers, UPI IDs, GSTINs (if applicable), PAN card details, and billing addresses. We may also collect government-issued identification and biometric data like selfies or video verifications as part of our identity verification process.
Beyond the information you provide, we collect data automatically when you use our Platform. This includes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, device identifiers, and usage patterns, such as pages visited and time spent on the Platform. We use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect this data, enabling features like session management, analytics, performance tracking, and personalization of your experience.
We may also receive information about you from third parties. If you use a third-party login, such as Google or LinkedIn, we may receive authentication data from those providers. We may use the data that you to facilitate the process of matching open opportunities with interns/freelancers. This could be undertaken in many different ways such as updates, newsletters, assess eligibility and to connect interns with relevant internship/freelance opportunities, career services, and skill‑building features.
We may may share masked, de-identified, anonymized or aggregated academic and profile information with educational institutions or career services partners/ Clients to support internship/freelance opportunity placement and verification. We do not sell personal data.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services. Specifically, we use it to match interns/freelancers with appropriate projects/ jobs/ opportunities, to facilitate communication and collaboration between users, to process and disburse payments, to monitor compliance with our policies, to provide customer support, and to personalize user experiences. We also use personal data for purposes such as fraud detection, platform security, product development, and legal compliance.
3. How We Share Your Information
While we do not sell your personal data, there are situations where we may share it. Your information may be shared with other users when required to facilitate services—for example, when a freelancer applies to a client's job posting. We may also share your data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in running the Platform, including cloud hosting, payment processing, KYC verification, marketing, and customer support services. In legal matters, we may disclose information if required by applicable laws or in response to lawful requests by public authorities. If we are involved in a business merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal data may be transferred to the acquiring entity.
